Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning.
- C.S. Lewis

Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man … Living in the sky. Who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer, and suffer, and burn, and scream, until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you. He loves you and he needs money.
- George Carlin

On the first day, man created God.
No Science No Truth… Know Science Know Truth.
Two hands working can do more than a thousand clasped in prayer.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime; give a man religion and he will die praying for a fish.
The world holds two classes of men – intelligent men without religion, and religious men without intelligence.

With the rise of science and knowledge, religious belief is increasingly losing its believers, and facing the challenges of atheism, agnosticism and non- believers.

Atheism, agnosticism and free thinkers are the products of rational thinking, skeptical inquiry and critical analysis, which severely put religious belief on the defensive.

Religious belief is increasingly losing its attraction in the minds of the average people. The further decline of religion in the western world seems unavoidable. France is the most atheistic nation (32%), followed by Germany(20%), great Britain and the United States (13%). In 2010.

Atheism is against God- based religion which is illusive, mysterious and dogmatic, and which has convinced people to believe in something that is imaginative, incomprehensive and inconceivable.

The strength of religion lies in its moral doctrines that are compatible with the instinctive feelings of the human heart. Believers or non- believers are all blessed with this kind of human feelings – a part of human nature.

Atheism is not anti- God but is strongly opposing any religion that creates the existence of God and use it to corrupt and control the human mind. The atheists reject the existence of God. God does not exist – but they are not necessarily irreligious. They can be believers of any spiritual belief that is not God- based. They are just as ethical and moral as religious believers.

The agnostic who doubts the existence of god, and the free thinker who feels that the existence of God is unnecessary and not justified, constitute a majority of non- believers.

The controversy between theism and atheism will continue forever, but the world will be ruled by non- believers at last.

All thinking people tend to agree more with atheism than theism, even though they may not be anti- religion.

Atheists are more knowledgeable about religion than religious believers, even though they are opposed to God- – based religion- – and many of them were previously religious.

Atheists and secular people are more liberal and less prejudiced and dogmatic, whereas theists and religious people are more conservative and less rational and tolerant.

Atheists do not accept metaphors and super naturalism as facts, but theists see metaphors and super naturalism as facts.

Atheism is rooted in science and reason, and atheists distrust anything that contradicts science or outrages reason. (85% of the members of America’s national academy of science reject God.)

The criticism that atheists are less moral and honest has been disproved by study after study. Atheists believe that morality is man- made, and follow their moral ideas which are more or less compatible with those of religious believers.

Atheists are people who think for themselves and defenders of reason, and their conviction that God does not exist is making a significant contribution to the development of thinking, rational and open- minded people.

Atheism is the enemy of God- based religion(s), but is accepted in some spiritual beliefs such as Hinduism and Buddhism.

Even though God- based religion is increasingly losing its believers in western countries, it is still a social disadvantage to be atheistic in public.
