God Quotes, Sayings about God
God made everything out of nothing, but the nothingness shows through.
– Paul Valery
They say that God is everywhere, and yet we always think of Him as somewhat of a recluse.
– Emily Dickinson
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn’t, than life my life as if there isn’t and die to find out there is.
(French Algerian Novelist)
Everything can be misused, and just because religion has been around longest to have it happen dosen’t mean that there is something wrong with it. It just shows that people can twist anything and everything. If i’m white and you’re asian, and you think that all white people are to blame, it’s not my skin’s fault. It’s you, for twisting something that wasn’t your buisness to begin with. (and this goes for religious, ‘holier than thou’ fanatics as well as their atheist counterparts)
God is really the wisest of all since He judges beings not by words, thoughts or actions but under what motives are you doing, thinking or doing what you have in either your mind or heart.
Men judge externally but God judges internally.
No man that has ever lived has done a thing to please God primarily. It was done to please himself, then God next.
– Mark Twain
God thinks within geniuses, dreams within poets, and sleeps within the rest of us.
– Peter Antenberg
The feeling remains that God is on the journey, too.
– Saint Teresa of Avila
As the poet said, “Only God can make a tree” – probably because it’s so hard to figure out how to get the bark on.
– Woody Allen
