A Cuban Oasis

The sun, the sand, the beach,
the cold Canadian weather,
is thankfully out of reach.
This mystical Cuban breeze,
is so warm on my skin,
I am profoundly mesmerized ,
and radiating from within.
As I take in this oasis,
I look over at my children’s faces,
and I see sheer joy and tranquility
for they are surrounded by pure beauty and deep amity.
There is so much to do,
so much to explore.
And as the days pass,
I love this oasis even more.
