I see a rainbow

I see a rainbow,
very high up in the sky,
we’ll take each other by the hand,
and together off we’ll fly.

And we will sit atop a rainbow,
together forever you and I,
and watch the people down below just to let the time pass by.

We will gaze into each others eyes,
whispering secrets in the skies,
embraced into each others grip,
upon our little rainbow ship,

Now it’s time to come back down,
back down to our tiny town,
but that will always be our spot,
and at least with us love’s got a shot.
