Life’s time

DownUp 0

Past time seems
as if everyday
was yesterday
Remembering the smiles
Laughing at old jokes
thinking of watching the clock
Waiting for it to hurry
Wanting it to stop
Some days like syrup
Movements slow and clumsy
The slow moving clock face
In a mocking pout
Other days seem as if hours were seconds
As if the breeze picked up time
And blew it along in the wind.
