Not the one for me

Once trapped in the dark with no one to hold,
I would scream your name to see if you were there.
You didn’t show up so I screamed even louder.
I began to lose my hope I had in you,
I felt like I was stuck in a nightmare without you.
It was dark and cold,
It felt like years I went with out you.
Just me, myself, and I,
No one to talk to but myself.
Only your love could save me from the darkness that trapped me.
It’s hard to be stuck here with only me,
I heard your voice every where i went for a long time.
Your face was the only thing I could see.
I remember the last words you said to me
“I love you but your not the one for me”
