Baby Poems, Poetry
There are no words to describe
the feelings I have inside.
Each new day is a magnificent one
and waiting for you,
my daughter or son,
is an emotional and intense time
because a mother’s love
is one of a kind.
I am blessed to be waiting for your arrival.
I promise, my little one,
to be the best mom I know I can be.
I will LOVE you forever…UNCONDITIONALLY!

TEN TINY FINGERS
TEN TINY TOES
A ROSE BUD MOUTH
A CUTE BUTTON NOSE
SHE HAS ARRIVED
THIS WONDERFUL LITTLE GIL
WE WATCH HER SLEEPING
OUR MINDS IN A WHIRL
SHE’S WEAVING A SPELL
AROUND US NOW
SHE’S DOING IT QUIETLY
YOU TELL ME HOW
INTO OUR HEARTS
SHE HAS BROUGHT SUCH LOVE
A MOST PRECIOUS GIFT
FROM THE HEAVENLY FATHER ABOVE
HE GAVE US HIS BLESSING
TO LOVE HER WITH PRIDE
LET HER SHINE LIKE A STAR
NEVER LET HER HIDE.

My mystery person isn’t known to many
Yet I plan to tell ten, maybe twenty.
It is lost in form and maybe has no hair
But no one is to make fun, or shall they dare?
I can not judge whether tall or short
But the day it gets here, I will have support.
As of now, the movements vary all over
But in nine months, it will be on my shoulder.
It has caused so many aches and pains
But in the end, I cannot complain.
I hope it enjoys its time in the womb
But when it’s here, our love will bloom.
No one will ever question our love for each other
because you will only know me as a mother.
Receiving my diploma after all is done
Will be the day the light will shine from the sun.

I Watch My Child Take His First Footsteps,
He Wobbles Unsteady, I Hold My Breath,
But He Doesn’t Notice My Unease.
As He Makes This Great Effort To Reach His Favorite Teddy.
It Sits There ,Glazed Eyes Staring,
But to This Child, He’s Worth the Great Struggle,
To Sit And Talk With This Furry Little Friend.
Who Keeps Him Company In Darkened Rooms.
If Only His Childhood Innocence Could Not Be Taken From Him,
Never To Know War, Hunger, Or Death.
Never To Know The Loss Of Friends Torn Apart By Bombs And Bullets.
Killed In Acts Of Violence.
Acts Of Violence Carried Out By Grown Adults.
Adults, Who Were Once As Young And Innocent
As This Child I now Observe,
Who As Children, Played With Teddy’s Themselves,
Brought Them To Bed, And Dreamed Fairytale Dreams.

My Little One,
My Baby Abhyansh…
Your Toothless Smile lights up my life,
And Your Babble makes it more bright.
When you hold your arms for me to pick you,
Love swells up in my heart and makes it new.
When you crawl towards me and scream with delight,
I hold you in my arms and everything feels so right.
The day you were born, a new me came with you,
And I pray that the bond between us will always remain true.

Close your eyes my little one,
The night is here and day is gone.
The stars are twinkling in the sky,
To sing my child a lullaby.
You,my child,a precious gift,
God gave during life’s drift.
Do not fear
For I am here,
To protect you as an angel would
And comfort you as I could.
Let little fairies chase away,
The nightmares that come your way.
My dear child do sleep tight
And I shall call you when comes day !

My little boy came into the world
Quiet and peaceful no cries to be heard
Waiting for the cry was like a thousand years
The silence like thunder in my ears
God came down from above and said
I need this little one in heaven instead
I pleaded with God to take another
But He said I will send him a little brother
His little eyes closed. His hand went tight
I held him and prayed with all my might
That maybe God will change His mind
And give me back this son of mine
I realize now that God was right
And He needed my boy in heaven that night
He is with God and I am at peace
I know he’s surrounded by angels at least
I picture him flying with his wings
I imagine him doing wonderful things
I pray he looks down on me everyday
And blesses his family in every way.
I miss you Noah with all my heart
I will never forget your beating heart
Your tiny hands and tiny feet
Your baby smell, ever so sweet
Together only a very short time
It felt like eternity in my mind
I will never forget you, not now not ever
My love for you will last forever
