There is a world of difference between racism & prejudice. IE: one can look at a young man with a hoodie on and prejudge that the young man is a thug, that’s prejudice. To judge a man as a thug because of his skin color is racist.
I can understand prejudice to a person the way they walk/dress etc (walk like a thug, dress like a thug, chances are, you are a thug), however, to judge a person solely on their skin color is, at best, stupid. And at worst, poisonous.
Travel broadens the mind, if you visit different countries, you may find that most of the world’s population are similar in the way they treat strangers. In my experience, it has been with nothing but kindness.
In fact, the only real racism I have encountered, has been by fellow white skin people because I’m English and they have been French, and that does not mean I dislike every French person because of it. It just emphasizes my point.
There are good people and bad people, that’s life. Color/race/religion/sexual orientation/language don’t come into it.

The silly thing is that the color of one’s skin is simply evolution’s answer for dealing with different rates of exposure to the sun … How ignorant is it then to judge a person on that?

I’m not trying to be mean but here are somethings that I have found out:

Caucasian talk about is eating fried chicken and kool aid, and I am very sorry to say, they eat the same things.

A lot of people called the black race ugly. If you look now at the African women, they have defined face structure, and very dark skin, just like their ancestors. The most beautiful skin I’ve every seen. Some are models, and they are some of the most beautiful women that I have ever seen. I mean, it comes to the point where a lot of people want to look like them!

Why do they have a Caucasian person running the NAACP?

And why is that when a black man comes into office, cleans everything up for America, and still is under fire for doing the things that he is supposed to do? And Bush, the reason for this mess, was not treated like that?

Just some food for thought. Go ahead, give me as much thumbs down as you want, because I just don’t care anymore.

I just don’t get it. We all have organs, we eat, sing, and dance, but the color of our skin will affect the way people think. Maybe black people should just go to Europe, because the people in Europe adore black people. The Europeans are more accepting to them than Americans.

The way I look at it most people are set in their ways and won’t change their minds about not liking another race. We all learn from our parents and the others around us.

It is wise to generalize a group of people based on culture/ethnicity/gender/etc. For means of understanding differences and associations of habitual characteristics, but an atrocity to judge each persons abilities based on the normalcy within any group.
