Recently the government sent each of us a $600 rebate. If we spend that money at Wal- Mart, the money goes to China. If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs. If we buy a computer it will go to India. If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. If we purchase a good car it will go to Germany. If we purchase useless stuff it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in US. I’ve been doing my part.
– Marc Faber
America is a land of taxation that was founded to avoid taxation.
– Laurence J. Peter
One thing is clear: The Founding Fathers never intended a nation where citizens would pay nearly half of everything they earn to the government.
– Ron Paul
Being American is about wearing Italian suits and driving a German car to an Arabian store for a German beer, then traveling home, grabbing some Mexican food on the way, to sit on Chinese made furniture and watch British shows on a Japanese TV.
Half of the American people have never read a newspaper. Half never voted for President. One hopes it is the same half.

Behind every material goal there is a personal reason.
Most of the men in my family have served in this nations military, so I have a naturally strong pride in my country, so please excuse me when I say this if it does not apply to you:
If you hate living in this country so much, then why the heck don’t you get out of it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? >:(
I know there might not be people that hate living in this country on this website, but I’ve seen nasty comments on YouTube after watching videos about the military and I can’t say anything because I don’t have an account and am not allowed to have one, and I really wanted to get my opinion out there.
Ten years ago we had Steve Jobs, Bob Hope and Johnny Cash, now we have no jobs, no hope and no cash.

America is a wonderful country; why do so many people cross oceans and deserts and canyons to get to us? Having said that, it is time for us to move forward. The citizens that criticize the U.S. Are not unpatriotic or anti- American, they just know that we are capable of doing and being better; we can be great again and contribute more positively to the world, not be an oppressive force against it.
The philosophy of the U.S. Government is to keep trying the same thing regardless of the outcome.

God created war so that Americans would learn geography.

As I read some of these quotes and comments, I am thinking to myself, how ungrateful nation we have become. This country offers hope to millions around the world, provides help to the needy, medicine to the sick in every corner of the globe and when the tsunami hits Americans dig to their pockets and give more money than the rest of the world combined. Yet some of us who live comfortably in US, our children have the opportunity to go the best schools, colleges and universities with all sorts of grants and scholarships with a chance to be whatever they want to be, have the nerve to denigrate this nation. For those pessimists who enjoy living in America, if you think other countries have no problems, think again? If you think you got it bad, go to Syria, if you think you are getting poor, go to Somalia, if you think you are not free, go North Korea then you really understand the meaning of wealth, health and freedom. I chose America on her bad day over the best day of any other country on earth.
I have been reading some these comments and I sure hope that some of these comments are from OUTSIDE the US. Otherwise, I can understand why our country is going ‘down the tubes’, so to speak. If you think that terrorism and letting illegal immigrants into the country is right, then you’ve got another thing coming! Most people don’t seem to understand that you can learn from past mistakes. Rome fell from inside. It was because people compromised their beliefs and got callous to God and anyone that had to do with him. Now it’s happening again. America was founded by great men who were Christians. America was a country that was free from ridicule and torment. Now, if you’re a christian, people act like you’re the one who is illegal, not them. God, help America!
