Cowboy Quotes and Sayings

I don’t have a quote but every one who thinks they are cowgirls or cowboys aren’t you have to be the person working hard for your animals out in a blizzard to be a cowgirl or a cowboy!! Just if you have a horse or something doesn’t mean you are a cowgirl or cowboy! So deal with it and stop saying you are a cowgirl or cowboy so shut up already.

Sorry I don’t have a quote but I was reading all these other quotes on here and about half of them are BS, I’ve been a cowboy my whole life and when I was growing up we said our yes sir/mam and held the door open for women and old cowboys and cowgirls. So when I say that just because you own a pair of boots, spurs, a hat, drive a truck, or just have a horse doesn’t mean your a cowboy. People who walk around saying their cowboys and don’t have anything to back it up with make us real cowboys look bad. Oh and by the way JUST because you ride bulls doesn’t make you a cowboy, not once have I ever been asked “Hey man do you think you could come over some time and break my bull for me”. It’s stupid and you’re not a cowboy.
Anyway that’s just my two cents.

The history of “A man to ride the river with” comes from when Texas Rangers patrolled the Rio Grande on horseback guarding against outlaws and Indians. It, of course, meant someone you could always count on in a dangerous situation.

A cowboy is someone who will work his fingers to the bone and not give up no matter how bad it gets. So…you break your finger well quitting ain’t gonna put supper on the table and pay the house off you just keep on going instead of making excuse to give up.
