Dreams Unfulfilled

We both saw a dream together,
But when did your dreams become for another.

With Marriage our souls are said to be united,
But when did our paths lay divided.

When our son was born, I thought we are now two to three,
But why did I miss that you really want to be free.

I know my faults, my anger and sulking,
But who said marriage is only fun and no fighting.

I accept that my clothes are grubby and hairs are tousled,
But did you notice that all this is a game played by our son.

Maybe you see a different dream and want a new shore,
But will we not fit like ever before.

Time shall heal the wound perhaps,
But the scars shall remain in my heart forever…
