I’ll tell you a story on the rubies shine red.
There’s nothing more that you’d ever dread…
A man who loved his jewels was too crazy enough
To create a new one, even though he bluffed.
His house caught on fire, squashed flat like a tire,
His rubies caught on fire as well.
They soaked up that heat, yes, it was very neat,
And that’s how the rubies got red.
